Constant exchange with national and international scientists is a major contribution to the further scientific development and facilitates the acquisition of new skills and the improvement of research approaches. In addition to conference visits, visits to other institutions are an important element for the development of cooperation networks.

For this purpose, incoming grants are available to invite guest scientists to visit Göttingen for up to four weeks in the course of joint research projects. Funding can be used in accordance with the guidelines of the Leibniz-Association for travel costs and accomodation of the guest. The Covid 19 pandemic containment rules in force at the time of travel must be complied with.

Members of the ScienceCampus apply for a incoming grant for their guest. The form sheet with a short profile of the guest, the scope of the visit and an estimated spending plan has to be submitted to ScienceCampus Coordination Office. Applications can be submitted electronically.

Applications may be submitted anytime, but at the latest 1 month before the start of the stay.
